The Australasian Aid Conference will be held on 13-14 February 2018, once again in partnership with The Asia Foundation. As in previous years, the aim of the 2018 Australasian Aid Conference is to bring together researchers from across Australia, the Pacific, Asia and beyond who are working on aid and international development policy to share insights, promote collaboration, and help develop the research community. With over 500 people registering in 2017, the AAC has established itself as Australia’s premier aid and development conference.
The call for papers for the 2018 AAC is now available; submissions of abstracts and panel proposals can be made through 15 October 2017.
Registration for the conference is also now open, with an early bird discount available through 1 December. Preliminary program information can be accessed here.
We are also accepting expressions of interest in sponsoring or exhibiting at the 2018 AAC - find more information about these opportunities here.
The Australian Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade’s Aid Supplier Conference will again be held the day after the 2018 AAC concludes, on 15 February at the Crawford School. DFAT’s conference aims to highlight partnerships in aid development procurement and policy and create a forum for a diverse group from the international aid and development community to share ideas and insights, showcase their work, and hear from DFAT officials about developments in the Australian aid program. Note that this event requires separate registration; please find further information here.
