The Australasian Aid Conference was held on 12-14 February 2018, once again in partnership with The Asia Foundation. As in previous years, the aim of the 2018 Australasian Aid Conference was to bring together researchers from across Australia, the Pacific, Asia and beyond who are working on aid and international development policy to share insights, promote collaboration, and help develop the research community. With over 500 people registering in 2017, the AAC has established itself as Australia’s premier aid and development conference.
The final program is available here and abstracts book here. Presentation slides are now also available here.
Video recordings of the conference plenary sessions and selected parallel sessions are available to watch here.
The Australian Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade’s Aid Supplier Conference was again the day after the 2018 AAC concluded, on 15 February at the Crawford School. DFAT’s conference aimed to highlight partnerships in aid development procurement and policy and create a forum for a diverse group from the international aid and development community to share ideas and insights, showcase their work, and hear from DFAT officials about developments in the Australian aid program. Further information can be found here.
