The 2020 Pacific Update, and the 2020 PNG Update have been postponed until further notice.

Given the spread of coronavirus disease 19 (COVID-19), the risk to public health, and uncertainty around the timeframe for government restrictions on international travel and public gatherings, we have not set a new date for either conference.

We will continue to monitor the advice of governments in the Pacific region, The University of the South Pacific, The University of Papua New Guinea, and the Australian National University, in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our prime concern is for the wellbeing of people and communities in the Pacific region.
