Australia's controversial new defence strategy: protecting the Pacific or putting the region at risk?
ABC Pacific Beat talked to Terence Wood after he took to Twitter to say: “I’m puzzled: Australia, the US & UK are needlessly escalating tensions with China.” He expanded on that argument, saying that as a global and nuclear armed power, China does pose somewhat of a threat but that the western allies are provoking China.
“Do you want to provoke China right now, or do you want to engage constructively with China as a part of the global community”, he said.
