Pacific foreign aid boosted in Australia's federal budget hand down

Stephen Howes told Nick Fogarty on ABC Pacific Beat that the budget boost in aid is not the increase it appears to be.

Although a significant increase, especially in aid to the Pacific, it is not enough to keep in line with inflation or the growth of the economy, Howes explained.

“If you are a supporter of foreign aid, you’ll still be disappointed by this.”
