Stephen Howes on PALM growth
Stephen Howes told Pacific Beat that Fiji is now the biggest supplier of workers to the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility scheme, overtaking Vanuatu according to the latest Home Affairs figures.
He says the PALM scheme has recorded massive growth from over 6,000 workers just before COVID to 32,000 now, a five-fold increase.
