Research interests

(Hoang) Long Chu is an applied economic modeller and data analyst within the Arndt-Corden Department of Economics. His interest is to create applied models to support sustainable decision-making, low-carbon economy, management of resources, biosecurity and disease controls, as well as structural transitions in developing countries. Long Chu is the recipient of a number of awards and honours, including the prestigious Eureka Prize in Australian science.

Associate Professor Long Chu has expertise and research interests in the following areas:
