Dr. James Mortensen is a Lecturer and the HDR Program Coordinator at the ANU National Security College. He has three main research streams; the history and philosophy of political security, the use of technology in social control, and the security implications of climate change on Eastern Australia. Prior to his appointment at the NSC, James held the position of Research Fellow at the ANU’s Cyber Institute.
James loves watching birds, hates birdwatching, and can’t stomach writing a bio in the third person.
