Molly Saunders
Research Associate

Molly Saunders is a Research Associate in the Department of Policy and Governance at the Crawford School of Public Policy. She is currently researching the experiences of young people with disability and young carers in relation to institutional listening. As a PhD Candidate at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Molly’s research examines gender inequity and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), using a capability-based understanding of human rights. She is currently an associate at the UNSW’s Australian Human Rights Institute.
Previously, Molly has worked as a casual academic staff member for the Centre for Social Impact, UNSW; in various international development organisations; as both an individual and systemic disability advocate; and, as a graduate administrative lawyer.
