Stephen Howes discusses the announcement of a start date of June 3 for the Pacific Engagement Visa ballot on ABC’s Pacific Beat.
He explains that three countries - Kiribati, Samoa and the Republic of the Marshall Islands - are yet to decide whether to participate in the scheme which will provide 3000 permanent residency visas to citizens of Pacific island countries.
