The Development Policy Centre undertakes research and promotes practical initiatives to improve the effectiveness of Australian aid, to promote development in PNG and the Pacific and contribute to better global development policy.
We are an independent and innovative voice.

The centre also provides pro-bono support to Femili PNG, a PNG NGO tackling gender-based violence through the provision of case management services in Lae, and a safe house and case management centre in Port Moresby.
