Cameron Hill on Trump's victory on The Intel
Following Donald Trump’s victory, Senior Researcher Cameron Hill wrote a response for The Intel’s question: ‘US election. So what for development?’
Hill says many of Trump’s subordinates are associated with the controversial Project 2025 manifesto which offers a radically reshaped vision of America’s place in the global order and the role of development assistance in supporting it.
He says the disposition of Congress will be a key variable but Trump can still do a lot of damage without Congress support.
