Registration types

Due to venue capacity, a limited number of tickets will be available.

One-day and two-day registrations

One-day and two-day registrations include all conference sessions and keynotes, morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea, as well as conference materials. Discounted registration fees are offered for full-time students.

Conference dinner

A conference dinner will be held at the National Museum of Australia on Wednesday 6 December. Participants may choose to include the conference dinner with their registration. Please note, as of 23 November, dinner tickets are not available.

Shared registration

We offer groups or organisations the option of registering under the Shared Registration category, whereby a single registration can be shared amongst multiple delegates. Under a shared registration, only ONE delegate per registration can be present at the conference at a time.

The shared registration policy is designed to broaden access to the conference, but in order to ensure that we are able to continue to offer this registration option in the future and to ensure there is adequate catering and space for all conference delegates, we kindly request that you respect this policy and coordinate attendance within your group so that only one delegate is present at the conference at any given time.

One-day shared registration can only be used either on Day One or Day Two of the conference.

Shared registration will be available once early bird closes.

Single-session ticket

A session ticket allows one individual to attend one session. This ticket type is suitable if you would like to attend a few sessions only.

Single session ticket holders can attend one of the conference meal breaks on one side of the session they attend, however they cannot request special meals (vegetarian/vegan and gluten free options will be provided in general catering).

Single session ticket holders must present a printed or digital Eventbrite ticket to attend a session. Each ticket has a unique QR code (and order number), which will be scanned to check attendees into each session.

Terms and conditions for single session tickets

  • A session is defined as one keynote or plenary session OR one parallel session.
  • Session ticket holders can attend the conference opening and closing receptions without presentation of a ticket, as well as any pre-conference events on 5 December (Day Zero of the conference) that are open to the public.
  • A printed or digital Eventbrite ticket must be presented to a conference staff member to attend a session. Each ticket has a unique QR code (and order number), which will be scanned to check attendees into each session.
  • Session tickets do not provide access to the conference dinner – a separate dinner ticket can be purchased for those that would like to attend.
  • Seating within a session is on a first-come, first-served basis, for all attendees. Each session will have a limit on the number of attendees based on room/theatre capacity. While the conference organisers do their best, unpredictable demand for a session may mean the venue is unable to accommodate all attendees. This does not entitle a session ticket holder to a refund.
  • Refunds up to 7 days before the conference start date. Eventbrite fee (5% of ticket price + $0.99) is non-refundable.
